Stinking Hellebore

This lovely plant flowers for weeks every year. It has an unfortunate name but it’s really pretty. The narrow leaves are a deep green and it does really well in partial shade. As the flowers droop as they do I was on my knees looking skywards with the camera for this picture. Good job it’s been a nice springlike day.
The material and lining I ordered to make a new duvet cover and pillowcases arrived this morning and I cut it out this afternoon. It’s covered in large kingfishers and is beautiful.
