Square Metre Challenge

I thought I'd been defeated with this challenge. I thought it was a good idea but my daffs didn't bloom and my crocuses were over and gone before I'd caught the buds open.

However, at the lodge I remembered I'd blipped these snowdrops. The weather had been so different then. Today was warm and sunny, earlier in the month, up here in the north, it was frosty, then it poured for days.

As I crouched down to take a repeat shot of the same clump of snowdrops now open I heard a noise. The square metre I was studying had in excess of a dozen bees with full pollen sacks buzzing from flower to flower.
