Springing

What a gorgeous day. Sunshine, people walking along the Green and young tearaways doing wheelies down the High Road on their motor bikes. I was too slow to get a photo of those so instead the static crocuses were my subjects.

Inspired by the wonderful picture by Chris Jepson and the 105 lens prowess of Aliscotia I thought I should have a go. There are a few of us posting crocus pictures but I think we can agree that it ain't as easy as it looks.

Off to cook up a fish pie for supper. I'm going to have a glass of red wine with it. You shouldn't do that but I'm going to rebel against the white wine with fish convention. Living close to the edge.
