Busy Birds

A Carolina Chickadee couple have begun to build a nest in one of our Bluebird houses. Although it's location is perhaps a bit too busy for Bluebirds, it seems just right for the Chickadees. The Wrens I was watching  the other day as they built their nest in a house on our front porch, have decided to relocate. When I cleaned out the house it contained a large Cuban Tree Frog. Cuban Tree frogs are an introduced and invasive species. They consume everything from our native frogs and toads to even baby birds! It was 'relocated' as well!
