The timid and the bold
I was working today, helping out on a zoom workshop for students (80 attendees, lots of break out rooms). When it was finished, I walked to Pollok Park with my camera and without the dog, who was out with the rest of the family.
Because I was on my own, I was able to wait for a while at a couple of places where seeds had been put out for the birds. The first one was the extra, a very bold pigeon who was stopping the smaller birds from getting to the seeds. Later on, in the walled garden, I spotted this wren, keeping its distance.
There wasn't much of anything in the vegetable gardens, except some rhubarb starting to grow, which looked like an alien hatching (see extra).
