These little beauties seemed to suddenly appear from nowhere. I must have had my eyes half shut when walking past this corner of the garden in the last few days. There was a dampness in the air which had not been forecast so it wasn't ideal for gardening. Instead, I went over to the Community Orchard to do a bit of pruning of the apple trees.
