Crocuses
The apple juice I had for breakfast today had been picked from trees that we can see from our kitchen window. They travelled a quarter of a mile to the press, and once bottled, a further quarter mile to the point of sale at the monthly market. Their half mile journey home to our fridge makes them our tiniest carbon footprint produce ever!
It was a great morning for a walk along the Christian Path to see the awesome crocus displays in Rosefield Park. We came home along the beach. It was busy but not irresponsibly so.
