Horseshoe

We went for a Turf walk in the afternoon around the Old Town. There is a relatively new development between King’s Stables Road and King’s Stable Lane. In the courtyard is the area where in the reign of James IV there were jousting tournaments. Nowadays there is a railing and a number of ferrous horseshoes in the paving. Today’s ‘abstract’ is one of these.
