Saturated Snow

Typical late winter snow today - huge, heavy snowflakes that change into rain within seconds and back again. It was a strange weather day for sure.

Kaylee and I set out to our local old fashioned candy store (Candy Hollow). We are friends with the owners and it’s a lovely shop to browse any day, but especially on dark dreary days. Always bright, cheery and uplifting. Plus ... sugar! Who doesn’t love a bit of a sugar high?

The boys have kept themselves busy with work and projects. I’m hearing rumor that one or both of the snowmobiles require repairs. That explains the lack of ice fishing and riding.

I worked a bunch yesterday and this morning in preparation of beginning of the month claims. I’ll be busy this week and needed some time to just relax with family.
