School Projects Finished!

Joy of joys, we've finished both of the children's spring projects. What an utter nightmare. Here is Poppy avoiding working on hers by using her sewing machine to make me a new hanky. It is lovely and made of purest purple. I'll treasure it.

We've had a new tree surgeon over this morning, 4 days work for 4 people to sort out the next load of tree work. He also thinks that the Ash will have die back, hopefully the one next door will as well as we'd like shot of it! He's also pointed out a lot of other things for me to cut down/back over the next few months and he did say they'll teach me how to make bird boxes with a chainsaw when they are here.
