Bubble blowing...

We had the little people today. First job making marshmallow rice krispies cakes - loads of calories consumed and a very sticky kitchen. Next it was who can make the largest bubble, we make our own mix in a bucket with distilled water, glycerine and cornflower....and baking powder. They just wanted to be outside, so we got the plastic water bottles out that I have drinking straws on so they stand up (upside down) a bit of vinegar and bicarbonate of soda in them, cork them and watch then rocket up onto the roof.great fun, but the boss always moans about the garden smelling of vinegar!
By mid afternoon when they go home I'm shattered. .!
