Pylon Tree

Taken on our walk this morning, I liked the way the skeleton of the old tree imprints on the pylon behind. A contrast of architectural structures - the patterns of nature versus the symmetry of engineering. For creativity and fascination the tree and nature win hands down and then will cover the pylon once the new leaves emerge.
A cloudless sky all day with warm sunshine throughout. Comfortably warm in the sun but the air remains cold and the temperatures are dropping quickly as the sun begins to set. 
Tidied up in the front garden this afternoon cutting back the seed heads from last year to let the new growth emerge. I am always excited to see the appearance of the new flowerettes of the sedums clustering around the base of the plant.
