More catkins

Another blipper has already commented on  the amount of catkins on the trees. I hadn't really noticed, but today in the Abbey meadows I realised that some trees were so heavily laden that they looked as though they were in full leaf.
Walking in the meadows was a bit of a nightmare. It would be just about possible to avoid the worst of the mud if one didn't also have to avoid large groups of people and what could be a growing problem, electric scooters.
