Shettleston Community Growing Space

Out on site visits today with Jim from the Forestry Commission, looking at some of the projects they have funded or part-funded in Glasgow.

First stop was the Shettleston Community Growing Space. We were given a guided tour by a woman from the housing association (can't remember her name which is terrible) and it was great to hear her obvious enthusiasm and knowledge around the project.

Today's blip shows the covered area in the site which provides some shelter from rain/wind/sun. It includes all sorts of clever design features that I won't list here - suffice to say that I was pretty impressed by the whole thing.
