Birthday Pup

Juno was born on 29th Feb but we’ll let her have a birthday even on a non-leap year.

She is completely oblivious of course but was very happy to get a bit of bacon with her breakfast and loved this dog birthday cake. I have no idea what they put in these things but judging by her reaction it’s some kind of canine crack cocaine.

We had a lovely 7km walk with Heather and her spaniel, Flo. Josh was busy building the second raised bed and filling it with soil when I got back. The garden revamp is going well. I wish I could have a relaxed nosey round a garden centre. I bought a few plants online but the pots arrived with barely a shoot emerged and they were £8.99 each... I shall be complaining if I have time.

But back to our lovely Juno - who has brought us so much joy these last 10 months. She’s curled up next to me gently snoring as I sip my wine...
