Waiting pays off

I have had three flowers on the camellia bush since it first started budding back in December but I did have lots of buds. They never opened.

Until yesterday! I have three flowers today and probably have six more that will be opening this week.

Sometimes I can be patient.

A hot day here but a nice breeze blowing. Windows wide open. Worked in the yard and may have a little suntan going on!


Jerry is using a hiking pole with a rubber tip to walk around the house! His balance is so good and he said it helps him to walk more normally than pushing the walker around. He won’t be using it outside but improvements are happening every day. He is getting to the bored and impatient stage. The pain is minimal and mostly when he does his home exercises. Thanks for all the well wishes for him as I think they have shown up here!
