Another quiet day

We were all a little jaded this morning as the puppy decided last night that midnight was the perfect time to cry for 20 minutes. Mr PHL took him fir a late night walk which he enjoyed but there were sirens and lots of shouting halfway round which unsettled him. So despite Mr PHL sitting with him for 30 minutes and then being happy to go to bed, he decide he wasn’t! He slept all night but was awake just before 7.

Quiet morning before I took him round the field again and did a similar zigzag route to give him plenty of opportunity to sniff and run about. It was only 10 degrees but warm enough to take my jacket off and just walk in my tee shirt (jeans too obviously).

Mr PHL has worked hard on his build and has started on the roof. He reckons it will be watertight by the middle of the week which is great progress.

Chicken and leek pie for dinner hit the spot followed by lemon tart and cream whilst watching Antiques roadshow. Tried to get an early night but am still up blipping still 10pm!
