Govanhill Baths

A wee while ago, my wife and I went to the Govanhill Baths open day. It was particularly interesting for us, as it's just round the corner, and there's nothing we like more than a nice swim. The Baths are now owned by a community trust after Glasgiw City Council closed them in


After years of neglect, the Baths are now being renovated, but you can see from this photo how much there is still to do. This blip was taken on the upper floor, in the bathing area. There are still a load of old tin baths still there, but the main thing I noticed was the paint hanging down from the ceiling. it makes an intriguing blip my opinion :-)
