today i waited on a couple of the lakers, pau gasol and sasha vujacic. i've waited on pau a few times before. they are always super high maintenance and absolutely must have lots of special order carbs and chicken. their lemondade was too sweet and their coke wasn't fizzy enough. this, that and the other. in general, they are nice enough, but service to my other tables suffers as i scramble to make them happy. every time they asked me for something, i was so tempted to say "for rudy? yes! for you? no!"

this is one of the first flowers of our crab apple tree in front of the house. in a few days it will be covered with these fuschia flowers.
