A chat with Jean-Pierre

time has its strange ways...
it had been months since we'd talked—
such a well-spent hour!

Of course we communicate, ceaselessly, through written media, but we're neither of us great fans of the phone, so it was that we hadn't spoken directly in close to a year! Still, the conversation flowed seamlessly from our latest talks, about life in the time of the corona, and our less-than-kind thoughts about how our dear leader(s) manage(s) the situation... It's good to vent. Good luck to people who have mental health issues in the years to come, is all I have to say. Oh, and let MDs prescribe the drugs they know work in the first stage of the illness, instead of letting it develop to a point where people need to be hospitalised. That would help lift the load in hospitals a bit.
