MONDAY'S RAINDROPS
It pelted down in Perth today, buckets full.
The kids were tee-ing off at the golf club, they didn't mind at all, not sure about their caddies, ie parents. It was Round 2 of the Junior Masters.
The day ran smoothly until the last group of players were half way up the eighteenth hole when Thor decided to join the party. Play was abandoned for at least forty minutes, rain continued. Eventually the game was able to be completed and presentations made even if almost in the dark.
There was some great scores regardless of the weather conditions.
A well run event and the club should be proud.
The Blip, I opened the door at the clubhouse while the rain was coming down and loved the rather large crowns of water on the outside tables.
The shot is facing the first fairway, unfortunately not a soul in sight.
Thank you isbi for hosting. I haven't had a moment to read the suggested websites. There was a little light on the table with the crowns.
I'm not sure if I'm interested in returning to the club to play in the morning, perhaps a good sleep will help.
I'll have to catch you later.
Extras are:
Ann, Carolyn and Ali on the golf course and
Ali holding up one of the trees.
You were a star, Ali. :))
