Light In B/W Photography.

Not sure I have interpreted today's Mono Monday challenge, hosted by Isbi, correctly.  It is a very dull and dreary day today, with no sun or bright sky to create shadow.  So I have tried to do the best I can with what I have to hand.
This is a shot of a paperweight with white spirals inside, taken through a magnifying glass which has led lights on the handle. Also there is some reflected  light from the window. I may not have completely understood the brief, but I quite like the image I have arrived at.
