Happy St. David’s day to you all!
I always feel a childlike excitement on the 1st March. As a child we had spent weeks preparing for the school eisteddford and the day was here at last! Would the daffodils I had been monitoring be out on time? Would I win any prizes? It was always a real day of celebration, even though we never celebrated it at home and, much to my annual disappointment, I never got a Welsh lady outfit to wear, however much I sulked about it.
