Looking up at last

We were forecast some brighter spells again but just like yesterday they didn't happen. On my way to the sanctuary I stopped at the artificial island again. Both the pair of Great Crested Grebes and the pair of swans were there but this time I chose to blip a shot of the swan that was not sitting on the nest when it finally lifted its head after some extensive preening.
