Happy as Larry
Yesterday's sunshine has been replaced with a more seasonal grey and overcast cloud, which was a bit of a bugger for a Mono Monday intent on showing "Light in B&W Photography"... It left is with fewer shadows and more blankness. But, you know, weather.
We walked up over the village and across the fields to Wickwar, passing the fields where the newborn lambs had been turned out for grazing with their mothers. You can just feel the happiness and pride washing off this mother.
This pastoral serenity won't last longer than a month or so, as the lambs are soon removed from their mothers. Then there is mournful baaahing that reaches down into the village, voicing stress and rage. But for now, all is fun and frolics.
I wanted to go with the extra, entitled Taking a Gambol. Sadly the rush to capture the antics meant the camera grabbed the hedge and the lambs are a bit soft. hey ho. I didn't really want to go with the other fella... ;-)
