Short-toed Treecreeper

It's been another beautiful sunny day here. I popped into town in the morning and then late afternoon walked down to the small woodland near home, with TheAphid.

We saw loads of great tits, heard a woodpecker drumming and spotted this short-toed treecreeper.

According to the RSPB website there are between 200-500 pairs over here in Jersey, which is rather exciting! They are small and very fast, so I'm really pleased I not only spotted it, but also managed to get some photos! :-D
