Aging Beautifully

The mellow yellow trio are now senior citizens, having one last fling before it's all over. This bloom was the most flamboyant, so it won the prize of being blipped for the Blipfoto world to see!

In other news, Phil and I had a good time yesterday trying to fit four child-sized desks in our Subaru Forester, as well as ourselves and Hamish. You can see all of those items, other than me, in this blip. 

Ensconced in the front passenger's seat, which was slid forward as close to the windshield/windscreen as it would go, with my seatbelt securely fastened and Hamish in my lap, I hoped that the journey would go smoothly -- and it did.

The 72 children to whom these desks will be given haven't had a good place in their homes to do their assignments while their schools are closed due to the pandemic. These handmade desks -- each signed by the woodworker who made it -- should make this challenging time a little easier for them.
