Monday March 1st

Standing there in the rain, gassing up the car so I could get to work, I couldn't help but think, "This time yesterday I was taking beautiful photos of Sand Beach!" It seemed fitting to capture the moment and dramatize the contrast.

The rain went on for most of the day, making a misery out of any snow that was still on the ground. I've decided the opposite of "snow day" is "indoor recess."

Now the temperature has started to drop and by tomorrow morning the forecast calls for 9 degrees with a windchill of -12 (that's in Fahrenheit. So -24 Celsius). I predict indoor recess again.

Still, March is one of my favorite months. Coming in like a lion is just part of the package.
