The Yarra Valley

Finally back at Wombat Bend after four attempts since March last year.  Covid has been the problem as every time I planned to visit, the NSW/Victorian border would be closed again.  It was so wonderful to drive through the gates last night.  For me now it’s a bit like coming home.  Sue and Bill, the owners of the property are wonderful people and it’s such a joy to be staying on their amazing property once more.  

We headed out for a drive to Healesville late this morning and ended up at the Soumoh winery for lunch.  How about this for a view while you’re enjoying a scrumptious meal of Spanner Crab Tagliatelle!! Oh, forgot to mention the delicious glass of Pinot Bianco.
