New hedge by Merlin's Bridge

The local farmer (the daughter of the deceased farmer) is planting a lot of new hedging. The plan, as far as I know, is to turn some of the land over to livestock. New fences and gates are also going up. There are some of these fields being planted with beans. It could be for them to be ploughed in for their nitrogen value - good soil for sowing meadow grasses in to. Bredon Hill in the background.
