Birthday Boy!

What do you do when it's your husband's birthday and you can't go anywhere because of lockdown?

I baked an iced preserved ginger cake to accompany morning coffee, see extra.

We also bought some locally smoked salmon and crevettes, a dressed crab, pork pie, treacle tart and cream. All enjoyed with some champagne for lunch in the conservatory.   Very delicious it was too, although no champagne for me as I'm still avoiding it until 2 weeks after my Covid jab.

Diet tomorrow!
