Brother Hawthorne's Portrait

This wee Hawthorne blossom and slice of whimsy for a Tiny Tuesday (thanks Cathy1947) would make a bit more sense if you knew that Nathaniel Hawthorne and I (and Longfellow too) all graduated from Bowdoin College in Maine, though obviously not in the same class.

Back from the dentist with no plans to go wandering so quick snaps here at home and now I'm out on the sitting porch, enjoying a warm breeze, cropping and quickly cleaning them up in Snapseed and figuring out exactly when I should head in for a nap.
