Serenity

Both my husband and I are in our right element here, in the forest.
The lake is still ice-covered, but it does not carry. Fortunately, no one went out on the lake, because I had not gone out on the ice to save any fool who had fallen in. In the past week, eight men have died walking through the ice. That is stupid after many days with plus degrees.
No, it was quiet and peaceful and we sat in the sun enjoying and having fika for several hours. What a day!
