Escape

A bit of a frustrating day work-wise. Hitting obstacles in every direction. So at lunchtime I escaped to the allotment to dig up some leeks for dinner and do a bit of weeding. Time to switch off and reflect which was very helpful.

Merlin visited the vet today and had his blood test. We will get the result tomorrow. He is still unwell so also had an anti-sickness medicine and has some probiotics to help his digestion. He is now snoozing with his head perched in my lap.

According to the forecast we’ve had the last of the sunny weather for a while. I am rather bracing myself for greyness and cooler air after being tantalised with spring-like weather these past four days. Anyway, I am grateful to have experienced it and hope we can look forward to more of it soon (0:
