Cycleway

One of the main roads has new cycleways either side of the road.

Good for those going up the 11% hill without having to weave the parked vehicles. For going down hill there still be a problem with nearer the junction when at peak times is 2 lanes hiccuped by the parked cars which hopefully will not be there now but the cycle lane may be ignored to continue 2 lanes.

Don't know how long the double yellows will last.

At least the cycle lanes are wide enough they don't have to cycle the drains. But the new LED lights are poorer for lighting a distance so all should be wearing lights.

I met 2 'cyclists' one each side on the pavement with no lights & brand new lanes empty!!!
