Bedtime story - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; enjoyed in small doses by younger daughter.

Nightly plaster on her thumb to prevent her sucking it / and to avoid her needing a brace, thank goodness. Unbelievable that if you find a way to prevent sucking thumb at night, you can avoid (in her case at the very least) years of uncomfortable braces not to mention a retainer, in theory to be worn on alternate nights for a decade (I joke not).
