Putting the carrot before the donkey

When a friend said to guess what these flowerheads were from, I was stuck. Er, um...But, as you may realise, they're carrot plants allowed to go their own way! A little out of focus, tho' you can still make out the profusion of tiny flowers and a faint (carroty?) pinkish tinge (the carrots were the purple ones).
The learning curve goes on!
