Thank you gift

My friend kindly gave me a gift for babysitting for her daughter. She used to babysit for my boys not that long ago ( time flies ).
Had a lovely surprise in the form of a flying visit from our niece and mum in laws grand daughter today so dinner time was great fun with lots of good craick round the table.
Had a go at making a spiced apple cake with apple crumble topping and toffee sauce. Was rather yummy. We even managed to make an apple crumble with toffee sauce for my gluton/ dairy free friend
