Red shoots!

With some warmer weather out rhubarb has been making a reach for the skies.  It seems to be growing half an inch a day!  We’re protecting with play pots at night from the frost, however very soon they’ll have out grown the pots I think!  

I am amazed how resilient the plants are, they’ve been moved again this spring and divided into a few more root balls. Now looking forward to lots of rhubarb desserts later in the spring.
