Springwells

Not a great photography day today.  This morning Mrs W had to donate some blood for a good cause, so I placed an order with the butchers for collection - quite an adventure I suppose.  Unfortunately the lamb comes in on a Wednesday afternoon so that was missing from the order - strict instructions to Mrs W, “ALL future surgery appointments for Thursday or Friday”.  To be honest we did know, but it’s been so long we forgot.
 
The ducks on the pond were a bit miffed having been thrown off their island.  It looks like running repairs are being made to stop the island washing into the pond.  Gabion baskets were being put around the island, with a heap of stone on the shore waiting to be put in.
