Census 2021

This arrived today and I was quite surprised - I had forgotten all about it. It seems strange thinking of completing it when I have spent so much time over recent years perusing census returns from years gone by.

I remember the very first return I looked at and ‘saw’ my grandmother as a young girl - a strange, but quite moving, experience. The 1921 census will not be released until January next year, it will be interesting for those of us following our grandparents.

Then I got to thinking - 100 years hence - who will be looking at my details? What kind of a world will there be? Then I thought - our grandchildren’s generation could be around - if there’s still a world of course!
