Colour on a dull day

Surprisingly cold and definitely grey all day. Nonetheless I enjoyed a long chat with J while we walked at Pinchinthorpe. Lovely to have a good catch up and a steaming hot cup of tea from the cafe to round it all off. We even discussed some places we would go when things ease up, including enjoying a meal out. Such things as dreams are made of.

On my walk home I noticed this quince brightening the day with its scarlet blossoms.
