All our Eggs

The chickens are starting to lay again after their winter break but they too are suffering with the rain and their nests are starting to get sodden and dirty with the mud they are tracking in. Hubs has  put fresh bedding in the nestboxes today so all will be snug and comfy laying for us. The first eggs to be on the safe side are going to Socks the fox who I know will be very grateful for an evening treat.

Never put all your eggs in one basket I was told once and to a degree it's true I suppose - just for a totally random thought .....
