Fun day

Worked hard this am, but showed myself up getting incredibly painful trapped wind under my rib cage infront of another member of staff - not to worry!

Had a zoom meeting in the afternoon to discuss a child’s targets; followed by another meeting after school with a therapist who is due to work with another child starting next week.  They are still under the impression that the child’s mother is sane - ha ha ha - they will learn!

In the middle of the two meetings I heard an incredibly throaty exhaust outside and went out to see one of our parents who has built this beautiful car (blip) from scratch.  It is a Lancia Stratos and has taken him 5 years and is just fantastic inside and out.  He did try to reassure me that my little Minwin will survive her ordeal too, but then spoilt it by saying it could take years!!!

Home to a quick doggy walk; WhatsApp for ten mins with my sisters (mum failed to get on the call again) and then straight into a Govs meeting.  Had two big glasses of Sherry (love virtual meetings) and it went soooo much better than usual!!! 

In other excellent news today, Father-in-law has successfully had his hip operation after a fall yesterday where he broke it.  Be in hospital for next ten days though which is a tad worrying. But at least the first hurdle has passed by successfully and that is something to be very grateful for :)
