Stac Pollaidh and Cul Beag

This area of Sutherland is like Santa land for hill walkers. I have driven past those mountains dozens of times for work (as today) but I have only ever climbed two hills in the far north, Ben Hope and Ben Loyal.
Stac Pollaidh draws your eye from many view points here, not because of its height (it is barely higher than Bohuntin Hill) but for that quite distinct sharp jagged sky line profile.

With driving at each end this has been a very long day. In other circumstances this would have been a multi day project with overnight lodging somewhere but Ihave agreed some pragmatic time saving measures with the client to fit the shift. I actually got more done than expected.
