"What a difference a day makes"

As the song goes...
Grey misty day and definitely  cooler.

On the positive side .. the British Gas engineer arrived at the beginning of our 4 hour time slot! 
The valve needed replacing,  which was done and fingers crossed... it s all repaired. 

M was waiting for a bonsai pot to be delivered and as Parcel Force dont give a time slot I ended up taking Fletch for a walk without M ( typical that 5 minutes after I left the pot arrived!) Fletch and I walked up to the sea wall and down along the causeway. He seemed perturbed that M wasnt with us again.. we shall have to find somewhere nice to take him tomorrow. 

The sea mist had lifted a bit but it was still grey and cold although the sun tried to break through. It s lead to an atmospheric photo anyway. 

Got the hoover out  as it's a while since I had so the place is looking tidier. I got a new doormat the other day which has Welcome  printed on it. Ironical that in the last 12 months we havent had any visitors to step over our threshold. ( if you discount plumbers , carpet fitters and gas engineers!) 
I wonder how long before we can legitimately have friends and family visit out home!
