Fashions

Ever changing with the years and seasons. I sometimes wonder who plans changing fashions in advance? Are there teams of marketing managers working out strategies way before we are exposed t them at retail level?
Do they look back a certain number of years (when we have all completely discarded similar styles from our wardrobes) to gain inspiration for a come-back?   Yes there have to be these faceless planners in charge of we, the puppets.   However I'm happy to say that in my mature years I choose comfort over fashionable 'looks' and just wear that I feel good in.   I find it sad that many young people feel they must wear ridiculous impractical gear to follow a gimmick that is clearly designed with money making in mind.  Perhaps I'm just an old nark!
