Chitting

It’s that time of year again, setting the seed potatoes out in their egg boxes and waiting on them chitting. Needed fewer boxes this year so we must have less spuds than usual which is no bad thing as we haven’t finished off last year’s crop yet!
Got a call that the compost is being delivered on Monday so I’d better get up to the allotment and finish digging over the veggie beds, clear out old roots and canes from the raspberry bed and generally get everything prepped. Creosoting the hut will have to wait.
