This is a friend of mine Warren Hagerty Pipe Major for the City of Invercargill Highland Band. Timaru is hosting the New Zealand and Pacific Highland bands Competition and there no more wonderful sound of Bagpipes from a distance. This is in the street march and how impressive it was. All the bands in number one uniform some with Busby's and full Military Uniform,and some wearing Kilts shirts Vests and glengarry's all looking smart and marching in step. The pipers piped and the drummers drummed it was beautiful music especially the massed bands. When 6-10 bands are marching and playing the same set of music it was something else.
