South African Blood Lily.

This is such a beautiful flower, and I have only just realised that it is always blooming at the beginning of March. It is very waxy with lots of yellow and white stamens, and has a stem with speckles all over it. The leaves do not appear until after the flower has died down.
I have photographed it many times, but I struggle to show it to its full beauty.
